About Radiance

Mission and Vision

Radiance Natural Health seeks to inspire and cultivate true wellness through the harmonious blend of Acupuncture, East Asian Medicine, and Somatic Therapies. We are here to transform the way healthcare is perceived and experienced; To practice the best of traditional medicine and to mindfully incorporate modern breakthroughs to better treat the unique health challenges of our times.

We’ve returned to the fundamentals of healing. Inspired by the dedicated physicians of the past—those who carried their black bags into the homes of their patients, offering wisdom, care, and restoration—we seek to revive that tradition. Our vision is to nourish the health of our community and the world through East Asian Medicine, Acupuncture, Somatic Therapies, and the power of Herbal and Food-based Medicinals.

The Radiance Philosophy

We operate from a foundation of love, administering care with warmth, joy, and deep intention. Our purpose is to create lasting, meaningful change by reuniting Mind, Body and Spirit so that we may be at ease again.

We strive to alleviate physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering, restoring a sense of wholeness in every person we touch. Our deepest wish is to guide people back to their own physical realities, helping them find comfort, balance, and stillness within themselves. We are here to help people slow down, to feel safe and cared for, and, above all, to feel fully human again.

Meet the Radiance Founder

Thalia Dain

Thalia de Jesus Dain, L.Ac., LMT, is a nationally board-certified Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist, and Herbalist with 18 years of experience in holistic healing. Her expertise spans a wide range of health concerns, blending ancient wisdom with modern techniques to promote deep and lasting wellness.

Thalia’s journey into Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine began while living in St. Croix, where she personally experienced its profound benefits. Inspired, she returned to the States to attend Chinese medical school, building a foundation that integrates psychology, extensive bodywork experience, and the full scope of Chinese medicine—including Nutritional Therapy, Manual Therapies, Herbal Medicine, and both Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles.

With a deep passion for guiding people toward slowing down and embodying their most radiant, natural selves, Thalia’s work is informed by her own mixed racial and ethnic heritage. Her curiosity about diverse healing traditions—and the ways they intertwine to create even more effective therapies—fuels her practice daily. This exploration has led her to a special focus on abdominal therapies and herbal medicine. She holds advanced certifications in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Arvigo Techniques of Mayan Abdominal Massage, and Visceral Manipulation.

Beyond her healing work, Thalia is also a musician, playing viola with the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra—come catch a concert! (www.portsmouthsymphony.org) When she’s not in the clinic or on stage, she finds joy in music, nature, great food, sailing, beach days, and traveling the world in search of beauty, culture, and inspiration.
