Every other Wednesday, 4-8 pm

What to Expect

A zen, yet cozy group treatment room set with multiple treatment tables. Some may be occupied, some may not. Sign in, choose an empty table, and relax into the tranquil atmosphere while you wait for your practitioner to check in.

Dress comfortably in loose pants/shorts and sleeves that can roll up. In warmer weather a tank top or undershirt. No sports bras please - this will reduce access for any upper back work. Perhaps bring headphones and find that meditative space with your own audio. Sessions are prepaid with a credit card on file and re-scheduling can be done at your convenience online.

All logistics will be set so that after treatment, you can drift away back to life again, calmer, less stressed and more comfortable in your body.

This Offering is especially for those seeking:

  • Acupuncture only
  • Relief for pain or other chronic conditions
  • Affordable care
  • After work/evening only schedules

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to get disrobed?

No. Please dress appropriately but comfortably in loose layers that allow sleeves and pants to be rolled up at least to the knee or elbow. Sheets and blankets are provided for warmth and modesty in the group environment.

Does it hurt?

Well, yes a little, needles are sharp and pointy. But an acupuncture needle is very fine, like a hair. Fun fact: you can fit roughly 30 acupuncture needles into the head of a hypodermic needle used for drawing blood. So, a little pinch on insertion, and then generally you’re good to go. Expect sensations like heaviness, warm, tingly, or maybe a sensation you can quite explain – that is the Qi moving.

Can Acupuncture treat <insert condition here> ?

Yes, acupuncture can address a wide variety of concerns but particularly excels in Chronic and acute pain, headaches, stress, anxiety and nausea.

Are Acupuncture needles reused?

Absolutely not. Acupuncture needles are sterile, single use, filiform needles. When removed, they are placed into the appropriate biohazard container for waste disposal.

How many sessions of Acupuncture will I need?

Depends on the type, severity, duration and frequency of the condition. A rough guideline might be for every year you have had the condition, expect to need a month of treatment. My goal is that you leave each session improved in some way.
